Empty mailbox.  Guess nobody loves us.  Oh wait.... that means that NO BILLS are here to spoil my day.  Horay, horay! :)

Ummmmm...... CHOCOLATE!!!!

I was craving something sweet, so I decided to make brownies.  I love the way they smell when they are in the oven.  What a lovely scent.  I wonder of they make a chocolate smelling candle.  That might be worth looking into.  Hmmm.....

It's the most wonderful time of the year?!?

Okay, not really but I am somewhat ready to do taxes.  I am never in a hurry to do them because we owe every single year, so here's hoping that enough taxes were taken out that it made a difference.  I will let you know-April 14th!

This is something that I made at a Super Saturday last November.  It hangs by my front door.  As I came home from visiting my dad at the hospital tonight and turned around to shut my door, my eyes saw this.  I was quickly reminded that I am truly blessed and I need to give thanks for all I have.

Is it just me, or do I need new slippers?  I asked for a pair at Christmas, but didn't get any.  Guess I will go buy a new pair on payday then.  Oh well..... they still keep my feet warm!

Yeah, our replacement filters came for our humidifier.  Now, we can use it at night and hopefully get rid of the sniffles!   Yeah!!!!

Why is it that even though we have an answering machine, people still will not leave a message?  Just curious.  I always check it when I come home and I am pretty good about returning calls.  I always ask my husband if anybody loved us for the day?  I guess five people did.

I love my "fur niece", Lucy.  She is a lot of fun.  Here she is resting peacefully at the feet of my mother.  It was quite cute.  She was content there and stayed there for quite awhile.  What a funny dog!

I think I need to take the time and clean OFF my refrigerator.  It is looking kind of cluttered.  Someday.  It just doesn't seem like a priority now, but I will get to it.

It is time for "Operation Declutter" to begin.  I need to get things back in order.  I found this book and thumbed through it.  I really like how it breaks it down week by week.  I think that will be easier to to then to tackle it all on at once.  It is just like eating an elephant-one bite at a time.  One day at a time.  So, we will see what happens.

Yellow?  Lemon Merguine?  Maize?  Blonde?

So I went and helped my dad paint one of the bathrooms earlier this evening.  The color is a yellow color, but I can't remember the specific color.  I haven't painted for a long time, but I did manage not to get any paint on my clothes.  Amazing!  Oh well...... it wasn't too bad.  I got dinner out of it.  Then my sister, Lynette and I painted the laundry room.  I will have to take a photo and post it.  It does look good, if I do say so.

Just one of these days, I'd like to see Mr. Sun.  I think he is hiding.  If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Mother Nature thinks it is March or April-bringing all the rainshowers.  Oh well.....it is good for my lawn.

My favorite TV Show

This is one of my favorite TV shows.  I love the character of Sheldon (the one pictured on the left).  This is a picture of the DVD Season 1 that my brother gave me for Christmas.  Gotta love it......If you haven't seen it, I'd advise that you catch an episode.  Try it, you might like it!

It is taking over.......

CLUTTER!!!!!!!

I am on a mission...... Operation Declutter needs to take place and take place NOW!!!  It seems like wherever I look there's a pile here, there and everywhere in between.  It is sooooooo frustrating.  This is our coffee table.  I need to get bills into the bill box, magazines where they go, coupons cut.....and on and on and on and on........ when will the madness end?

Drink of choice lately

Not to mislead anybody, but it seems like about all I drink now is water, water and more water!!!  Not that I am complaining, it is good and I need to increase my water intake.  I am feeling better and suppose it is helping.  64 ounces....uggh!

Comfy!

I have always loved slippers and have several pair.  I have to say though, out of all my slippers, I do love these.  They are suppose to be feet in flip flops with toe rings and all.  Gotta love them!

It's good for the soul

Because I have been sick, it seems like this is part of my "diet".  (It is easier to eat, especially since I can't open my mouth all the way.)  Besides, it is pretty good.

Seriously, how many remotes does a person need?  Hmmmmm..... stereo, Direct TV, DVD Player and TV?  Oh my..... time to condense, I think?  We will see.......

Really?  As if it wasn't enough that I am dealing with, I get a cold/flu on top of it??????  Good thing meds come to the rescue.  Ah...... nothing quite like the nightime pills.  Had a great night of sleep (13 hours!)

Day 3

I have been on some medication with one of the side effects being not able to sleep.  Funny thing is that one of the things that brought on my condition was not enough sleep.  Ironic?  Anyways, I decided to take something to help me sleep.  Boy did it ever.  I slept for 15 hours.  It was awesome. Don't think I have done that in a very long time.  However, I don't think I want to keep taking this though.  Oh well.... at least I got one decent night's sleep out of it.

Okay, so spending the first part of my morning at the walk in clinic was not part of my to do list, but being the dutiful wife I am, I drove my husband there.  He is sick and hasn't been at work the last two days.  They prescribed meds, so hopefully he is on the mend.  We will see.  Guess I should get off the computer and give him some TLC.

Yep, went and bought one so I could get the puke out of my light blue front room carpet.  It works pretty good too.  Oh the joy!  Hooray for the Hoover Steam and Clean Vac.
